Scenario

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the local community center wants to add Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology to the marketing strategy. The CMO wants the membership to increase by 10% in the next three months. You are the marketing director, and the CMO wants you to research new AR/VR technology that can be leveraged with the social media campaign, to help increase the membership.

Instructions

Create a 3-page memo with section headers for the CMO describing the AR/VR technology that will fit in the social media campaign for the community center. Include the following in your memo to the CMO:

  • Review the new technology of AR/VR and how it can be incorporated into a social media campaign.
  • Describe some benefits and disadvantages around using this new technology for the community center.
  • Recommend and define a digital marketing strategy around the use of AR/VR for the community center.
  • Describe how this digital marketing campaign will be successful in raising the membership by 10%.
