It is time to use what you have learned about thesis statements and topic sentences. 

  • Begin by choosing a topic: a favorite place, a hated food, a musical group or theatre performance, a best friend, a bully from high school, a profession, something you just learned, a great idea.
  • Use the topic to write a thesis statement. 
  • Use the map to create a topic sentence for each of the three body paragraphs.
  • The thesis statement and the three (3) topic sentences should be submitted in the same MSWord file by 11:59 PM EST Sunday, Week 3.
