This assignment will be graded using the Concept Analysis Paper Rubric located in the course syllabus. The written paper for this course is meant to explore a concept and analyze how it is practiced in the field of nursing. Introduction of the concept.

This should include the purpose of the analysis and the significance to nursing practice, education, and/or nursing research. 1. Analysis of concept. Follow the steps of concept analysis as presented by Walker and Avant.

2. Comparison. Synthesize the findings in your concept analysis with what you have found in the literature. 3. Implications. Discuss implications for nursing practice, education, and/or nursing research. What is the meaning or outcome of your analysis?
