Description For this module, you will be using a very different writing style, and that is academic writing. One of the first tasks necessary to write an academically sound paper is research. Refined academic writing uses peer-reviewed academic journal articles, reports, briefs, or books to substantiate your presentation. Be sure and watch the provided video which explains ways to access useful research. You must always document your sources to avoid plagiarism. For this course, APA formatting is appropriate. A video is also provided which explains how APA formatting is accomplished. Alternatively, the Purdue Owl website (Here) offers an online writing lab which thorough indicates all of the nuances of citing sources in APA format. You will have two tasks to complete for this module: Identifying peer-reviewed academic journals in your field of work or study. Writing an essay on the current trends in your field of work or study.
