9.3 Movie Analysis Based on Course Studies:

(Document cited answers as instructed.)

<For questions under 9.3: (Limit the total of all parts to 2-4 pages.)

1. Focus mainly on the assignment question and character analysis in relation to the course text or stated reference.

2. Rather than centering on detail about the story, make brief references to your movie plot with no or very few movie quotes.

3. Properly APA document any quote, paraphrase, or summary of the author’s or movie’s contribution. Unless using a quote, a general reference to a movie can come at the end of a paragraph or several close linking paragraphs. Be sure to include page numbers for your in-text references and end References.>

a. Study and reference Dr. Hedgpeth’s supplement, Four Basic Personality Styles. What were the personality styles of 2-3 main characters? How or why did the personality styles complement each other, clash with each other, and/or shift over time? (Document answers as instructed.)

<As instructed above, focus mostly on styles, little on story; include multiple references from the instructor’s 4BPS Guide.>

b. Study and reference Gary Chapman’s, The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts. What were the love languages of 2-3 main characters? How or why did the character’s love languages complement each other, clash with each other, and/or shift over time? (Document answers as instructed.)

9.4 PowerPoint References:

a. Self-Evaluation Analysis: (Document cited answers as instructed.)

Ponder your Self Evaluation questions and subparts 9 (Loving Balance?) and 10 (Healthy Lifestyle for Now and the Future?). Scan the supplements PPT-9a/10a, particularly the segments under Food for Thought. When reflecting on the above Self Evaluation questions and the above PPTs, what mostly relates to you, directly or indirectly for the past, present, and/or future, and specifically explain how or why.

<This part needs to be 1-2 pages. Self-Evaluation and PPT parts need to be reflected in your answer. For PPT-9a/10a and/or 9/b, use APA style references only for direct quotes.>

b. Personal Love Evaluation:

Read PPT-9b, The Ultimate Love, which give biblical references of how Jesus showed his love in comparison to the 25 Action Words presented throughout the course. Name 3-5 of your strongest love characteristics and how each one benefits your relationships. Then name 3-5 of the love characteristics that you want or need to improve, and briefly tell what you can specifically do for each one to make real and lasting changes.

<This part needs to be about a page or more.>

9.5 Text Analysis:

a. Course Materials Evaluation: Rank the course readings 1-3, with 1 as the one most helpful to you to 3 as the one least helpful to you.
