Secondary Source a) Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations LGBTQ Report b) Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations c) 2017 d) Despite a fairly aggressive and unified LGBTQ community in Philadelphia, it nevertheless suffers from the traditional curse of race, wherein Black LGBTQ’s are seen as not as important as their white brothers and sisters, including in efforts to help promote equality in gay marriage in the city’s Black LGBTQ communities. e) This is a secondary source because it collects primary resources, namely interviews, and analyzes them to obtained a thoughtful reflection of the issue. 3. Tertiary Source a) The Hornet Guide to Gay Philadelphia b) Charles Thompson-Wang for the Hornet news site c) January 1, 2019 d) The article provides numerous links to organizations and/or members of the Philadelphia LGBTQ community, as well as books, comments and living. e) This is a tertiary resource in that rather provide information directly, it provides a valuable resource for researchers to find primary and secondary sources about the Philadelphia LGBTQ community.
