I’ll pick “resilience” from the list of characteristics. Resilience is the capacity to overcome hardship and carry on regardless of setbacks. I can do the following to increase my ability for resilience:

- Develop a progress mentality: A resilient mentality may be developed by accepting setbacks as opportunities for learning and progress. Failures might be seen as temporary setbacks that offer invaluable insights for progress rather than as permanent setbacks.

- Self-care is a must if I’m to develop resilience. I must take care of my physical, emotional, and mental health. Emotional resilience is influenced by regular exercise, proper rest, and enjoyment- and relaxation-inducing activities

- Increase Problem-Solving Capabilities: Improving my problem-solving skills enables me to approach problems with a solution-focused attitude. Overcoming difficulties appears less intimidating when complicated tasks are divided into smaller, attainable steps.

- Develop a Supportive Network: Surrounding yourself with friends, family, mentors, and cowork- ers who provide support and a listening ear may be really helpful while going through difficult times.

- Practice mindfulness: Methods for managing stress and boosting emotional toughness include deep breathing exercises and meditation. Overwhelming sensations can be reduced by staying in the present and looking for the good things.

- Establish Achievable objectives: Setting attainable objectives aids in sustaining a sense of success despite failures. Celebrating incremental victories increases resiliency and confidence.

- Adopt a Positive Outlook: Being upbeat helps to refocus attention from issues to potential solutions. Resilience is fueled by the conviction that difficulties are transient and achievement is possible.

I can increase my capacity for resilience by proactively putting these techniques into practice. The capacity to overcome obstacles with courage, adaptability, and an optimistic approach will help me persevere and thrive in life’s trials.

- Learn from Adversity: Examining prior struggles and how I overcame them might help me identify my strengths and coping skills. Future challenges may be made easier with this understanding. (McQuaid, 2018)
