INFORMATION SYSTEM AUDITING

Take the same Company as last week

For this week’s assignment, look at the categories in the description. What you want to do is describe the importance of each topic and explain how your company ensures that each need is met – what are the steps you take? This assignment is setting the foundation for the next two assignments. From an audit standpoint, the auditor will be looking to ensure that these steps are in place so that the IT system is secure and can recover from a disaster.

Remember to consider your particular company’s needs. Some companies will require that data is recoverable within minutes, while others may be able to go days without significant harm to business continuity. What is your business? What are the accessibility requirements for your employees and customers?

 Assignment (1200 words)

Develop a Cloud DREP (Disaster Recovery Emergency Plan) document that addresses how the IT department can respond to a disaster. The plan must address how to have the systems up and running in a very short amount of time. Assume that the systems were in a complete efficient state prior to the disaster.
