 The purpose of this project is to evaluate how an airline might be able to value add more to a passenger. This may translate into increased revenue if the airline is able to give a passenger his favourite touchpoint. Background – The contextualizing information presented is greater than expected, with a complete glossary of terms in some form, defining the key terms, and a complete historical context is presented. 13) The practical nature of the research problem is clear, as is its impact on the aviation industry. Specific financial terms for the importance of the research are clearly expressed to provide a value proposition. 14) All questions utilise appropriate interrogative words for the scope and intent of the project (what, why etc). Questions include details about the methodologies utilised. Questions provide all information about metrics and variables. 15) The depth of literature review and analysis of prior studies is presented at well above the expected standard. 16) Methodology – All 7 aspects present: A detailed description of the research design, including information about qualitative and quantitative aspects, and mix. Specific methodology or methodologies identified and described. A complete description of the data in terms of the types of variables and quantities. A step by step description of how the data was collected, and any data manipulation undertaken. A description of data the data presentation. Description of an appropriate and complete data analysis Supporting theory for the utilised data analysis. 17) Data are exceptional and well above the expected standard for quantity, quality, in terms of presentation and completeness 18) Analysis is exceptional and well above the expected standard for quantity, quality, in terms of presentation and completeness. 19) Discussion – All 5 aspects present Data analysis concisely summarised to provide the major findings of the research. Findings compared to similar findings from the literature, Practical industry relevant recommendations given based on the findings. Limitations and assumptions discussed. Potential improvements and future work suggested. 20) Conclusion – Findings interpreted to provide clear meanings and conclusions. The results and analysis are synthesised to answer all of the posed research questions. The significance of the findings is presented and related to the importance of the study. Any questions unanswered are clearly stated, and/or further questions that arise from the work are presented. The conclusion does not include unnecessary information or detail, ensuring it is concise and succinct. 21) Student’s ideas are highly innovative, unusual and novel; ideas display inventiveness, often with unexpected or surprise twists. The research project shows creativity that has merit and practical relevance, the project is not simply odd, but is exciting and fresh. 21) The complexity of the research project is well above that expected, utilising tools and data resulting in complex and advanced analysis. 22) The project clearly shows that the effort is well above the expected level. Looks complete. All the parts work as intended. 23) The paper uses the specified template and has no formatting errors. There are no spelling errors in the final draft. There are no grammatical errors in the final draft. The minimum length for the final paper is 6 pages in the template format (double column with 10 point time font). The typical submission will be around 10 pages in the template format, and the maximum will be 12 pages in the template format (not including references and appendixes, but including figures and tables used in text).
