Political commercials and the effect

Today, many of the political commercials we see are paid for by special interest groups or political action committees. Using the Museum of the Moving Image – The Living Room Candidate (http://www.livingroomcandidate.org/commercials/type/backfire), review three different political commercials from the different categories (Backfire; Biographical; Children; Commander in Chief; Documentary; Fear; or Real People) and write a 3-4 page response to the following questions: Were these commercials effective in making the candidate look good or bad? Did the political action committee or political group get their money’s worth (in your opinion) Did their candidate win or lose? (If you don’t know—Google) Could the same commercial that was created 10+ years ago still be effective or not?
