Scenario: You are the senior Human Resources professional for a fictional organization.
The project is a report detailing the organization’s human resources objectives, structure, policies, procedures, practices, challenges, etc. Essentially, this is your turn to be in charge and use your ideas to develop an effective HR function. Be creative! An outline is provided each week to help give you an idea of what information to include, but you are not limited to the items listed. As well, your submissions should be in traditional APA paper format. Do not simply answer the outline questions or use bullet statements. Use references and examples to support your writing (See rubric) The Capstone project is segmented into eight separate assignments (Weeks 1 thru 8). Each segment targets a different element of HR and is graded individually — there is no overall grade for a final submission. Each week, there will be a separate requirement as one element of your project. The specific areas of focus for each respective week will be outlined in the respective week’s module. Please go to “W1: Capstone Project” to begin.

How do you meet those challenges?
What are the major strategic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats confronting this organization and the industry (SWOT)? How are you dealing with them? How many HR professionals are assigned?
How is the human resource function organized to carry out the objectives of the organization? How are the tasks or responsibilities assigned?
How is HR integrated into the strategic management of the organization?
