1) Use an Internet search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo) to identify a web page containing information on your topic. **Do not use non-academic sources such as Ask, About, eNotes, Wikipedia, Shmoop, Gradesaver, eHow, or Answers.com. Evaluate the credibility and reliability of the website/ source. If you are not sure, ask your instructor, librarian, or tutor in the ARC.

2) Use a library database (Plaza Library’s ProQuest, Ebsco, Novel, or Public Library database) to identify a source containing information on your topic; preferably from a journal

3) Visit a public library and/or Bruson Hall Library. Ask the librarian for assistance and identify one print source or ebook: a book on your topic

Five sources are required for your project. The five sources must include: An Internet search engine (1), a library database (1), and an e-book or print book (1). Two additional sources are required and can be any combination of the above.Check with your instructor, if you plan to use any other type of source for the two additional references, not listed. 

For the remaining 2 sources, select the appropriate source page provided.When you submit your information literacy forms, you should have five forms. You may use your textbook, but the textbook is not to be included in the five sources.

Appendix B: Two Direct Quotes: 

Copy and Paste two direct quotes from your paper. Direct quotes must have signal phrases and must have quotation marks with page numbers or paragraph numbers. The page # that the quote appears on in your paper must be identified.

Reflection Letter: Use full block letter style; in three paragraphs, compose a letter to your instructor in which you reflect back on what you have learned from this course, how has this class impacted the way you think, and what particular issue was the most interesting to you. Explain why. The reflection letter must be a minimum of three paragraphs. Sign your reflection letter.

Failure to submit your information literacy forms and you PowerPoint as a separate document not attached to this paper will result in a failing grade
